Chapter 3 The First Battle

Feeling exhilarated, Rex went into full battle mode.

"First attack, Axe Art Mountain Cleave"

Rex's first attack was one he had used in the Eighth Realm to completely wipe out a mountain range but that art was the previous version. Now that it had been upgraded to Mountain Cleave it's damage was doubled.

With nothing but dust. Everyone just stood there anticipating that there was enough damage to the Raid Boss for Rex to continue.

Slowly Rex felt nothing but absolute fear. The attack he used should have nearly killed the Raid Boss. Unfortunately, not even a single scale fell off the Raid Boss.

"Nice attack. If it was any other fragment of the Evil Dragon. It would have been an absolute kill." The Raid Boss laughed.

"Show me more!" The Raid Boss's eyes turned into bright red eyes.

Knowing that he was going for an absolute victory for himself. Rex did not hold back.

"Second attack, Soul Art"

This shocked the entire nine realms. For a body cultivator to use Soul Art. It would mean billions of Qi stones and nearly everything from the person.

Rex had not even told his guardians that he could use a singular Soul Art. They were the most afraid because something happened to him right now. The entire Earth would fall through his loss of cultivation.

Finally standing above Rex was a man. His entire demeanor felt like a normal cultivator but the muscles on him felt like a body cultivator.

"Soul Art, Heaven and Earth Cleave"

The only places left untouched by that attack was the safe zone and where everyone was standing. Rex's body turned bright red from using that Soul Art. One would lose a small percent of their soul using the sacred arts.

The Raid Boss looked at his body and noticed the left wing had gotten broken. Even though that was a weak spot. The scales reinforced them, so that not even a second Heavenly Realm cultivator could break them.

"This is your victory." The Raid Boss shouted.

The entire nine realms shouted. There was nothing that made them more proud than seeing Rex of The Six Delights actually single-handedly defeat the Raid Boss.

The blessing wore off and Rex fell over. The women wanted to rush over to help him but they could not.

Before Rex could fall into his death, the Raid Boss caught Rex. Knowing full well that nothing could be done about his fatigue. The Raid Boss simply gave Rex the win.

Then in a flash of light, like normal everyone disappeared.

Rex's guardians were outside but Rex had not gotten out yet. This scared them because the screen for the Raid Boss had been turned off.

Iris and Liz fell to their knees. Margaret and Amber both had to rush to the Ninth Realm and explain what happened to Rex. Violet just watched over Iris and Liz.

Earlier that morning in the godly realms

"I wonder which groups will be fighting against my fragment today." Mera the goddess of all evil said.

With 1,000,000 Qi stones deposited and a group named The Six Delights. Mera began to search about them through the recordings she had of her fragment.

"Oh this group seems to be one that I might want to turn off auto battle on."

Knowing what she was about to do. Mira the goddess of all good came in.

"Mera what are you doing?"

Mera did not even turn her head. She just quietly pressed the button to turn off auto battle and a weird helmet appeared above her head.

"I want to battle personally, this group seems interesting." Mera replied.

"I want to watch as well."

"Fine but do not interfere in this battle. It does have mortal beings in it. I really want to add them to my collection but I want to see how they fair first."

"You and your collection." Mira sighed.

Getting a helmet herself, Mira began to watch as a single body cultivator came out from the safe zone.

He happened to be at the exact safe spot from this massive fireball that automatically comes out from the fragment. That was something she had done to cause fear so that no one would dare try to single-handedly face this monstrosity.

Mera was excited seeing the man stand in the safe spot from the fireball. He had gotten close to it several times but this time he managed it perfectly.

Forcing her fragment to land, Mera began to look around. Noticing that no one was in cover or on the mountain tops that should have been destroyed.

She turned her head back to Rex. Noticed that he had two axes made from her scales. Knowing that he had already dealt the most damage to this fragment over the times he was here. Mera wanted nothing more than to collect his body for the collection she had.

Mira was also shocked seeing how the landscape turned back to normal. It would have to be one of their fragments scales that actually do something like this. In their territory, only God Qi or the scales of one of their fragments can change this environment.

"He truly has the potential to make it to Godhood. From what I have seen his current potential has stopped at the Fourth Mortal Realm." Mira spoke lightly before entering in a commanding tone, "Mera, if he manages to injure you in any way. It is automatically his victory and he will get summoned up here."

Mera did not want the punk to win but she had already buffed herself with the Evil Blessing of Indestructible. Knowing she could not die in this fight, getting a wound would be near impossible, without a bypass.

Seeing Rex use his Axe Art, both goddesses were a little shocked because that art was the most advanced Axe Art. Even people in the Heavenly Realm had not gotten that Axe Art yet.

Knowing that she had used her blessing, Mira was without a doubt going to give him a blessing if he did not do any damage in his next attack.

Mera knew she had done a good thing and blessed her fragment with indestructible. Knowing full well, what was about to happen she spoke through her fragment.

"Nice attack. If it was any other fragment of the Evil Dragon. It would have been an absolute kill."

Taking a breath she continued.

"Show me more!" Mera's eyes turned bright red which caused the fragment's eyes to do the same.

Suddenly hearing that the body cultivator could use a singular Soul Art meant he had paid dearly for that use. It could also have been from one of the blessings he had gotten from the women.

The goddesses did not care. They wanted to see this fight through to the end.

Hearing the Soul Art, "Heaven and Earth Cleave".

Both of the goddesses knew he had the power to use that attack but not the Qi to withstand the backlash. If one had enough Qi it could cause an entire realm to disappear.

To have the Qi do that, one would have to be in the final Heavenly Realm and fight in the never ending tournaments there.

Noticing that her fragment's left wing had gotten broken. Mera knew she could not fight against Mira. So she reluctantly decided to just give the victory to Rex.

"This is your victory." Mera declared.

Seeing Rex fall, Mera used her right wing to catch Rex. Since it was declared that The Six Delights won. Everyone exited the Raid Boss area.
