Chapter 60 Cleaning houses

Rex dashed towards the Priest's house. On his map he saw that every green dot was in front of the house.

"Well it is a good thing I know that there is a window in the back." I thought.

"Shadow Step"

The overcoat's ability allowed the user to blend with shadows. Perfect for ambushing predators or spying on people. For an assassin, they would use this ability inside towns and heavily guarded places to completely annihilate the target.

"I am going to slaughter everyone." I made up my mind.

"Spider Queen, can you get a seed of Silence out for me please?" Rex asked.

The Spider Queen did not want to but the Demon wanted to. She did not want him doing anything.

"Only this time! I will not help out again." She was mad.

"Thank you. Now it is time to clean up this house and rid the Realm of this Priest." I said to them in my Soul.

I jumped through the back window and shallowed the seed of Silence. I quickly entered the first room with fifteen people inside. I threw the ten daggers and had the short swords slid out.

Instantly ten people died and the others turned around only to have their heads sliced off.

"First batch done." I thought.

Entering the next room, I did the same tactic. Once again, I cleaned the room up.

With ten people left on this floor. I knew there were going to be more upstairs. I started undressing these people and seeing what they had on them.

In the room I just cleared. I found 6 short swords, 20 daggers, 3 bottles of liquor, and the nicest bottle opener in the Second Realm.

I then went back to the room I cleared first. There I found 7 short swords, 18 daggers, 1 bottle of liquor and a key to Love's house.

Finally the front room with ten people inside. I instantly went in and threw all 10 daggers at the people. One person barely dodged but to get his head clean sliced off.

I checked them too with 2 short swords and 16 daggers. I went upstairs and the time now was 10:49.

Once I peeked my head above the floor. There were twenty more people including the Priest.

"I always wanted to say this line." I found myself happy.

"Happy hunting." I smiled.

Quickly I finished four people and searched them I found mainly gold and a little silver. One person did have a short sword.

Darting quickly I killed the others. I no longer cared what they had on them. I was going to win that bet.

I stripped them of their clothes and threw everything into inventory.

I found that to be a good surprise because it would automatically tell me what they had.

Finishing everyone but the Priest up. It was now 11:00.

"Sorry but the Goddesses hate you and asked me to kill you. So I am here to serve your head on a silver platter." I quickly went and sliced his head off.

Stripping him of his clothing before blood got on them. I then heard a couple of whimpers.

I looked and saw a little dog and a slightly bigger but thin dog.

I opened their cages and carried them with me back to the shabby building.

Meanwhile outside

"I thought Rex would have been back by now." Iris said.

"He might have been caught up in something." Amber followed.

Olivia felt that something was wrong. She could not tell what it was.

"Forgot Rex for now. I am going to storm the building." Olivia equipped her short sword.

Iris and Liz both sighed and waited for Olivia to kick down the door.

Once Olivia kicked down the door. The bodies they saw were already dead and killed recently.

"Who dares to kill these people?" Olivia was mad.

Iris and Liz both started checking them. They found absolutely nothing on them. They suspected that whoever killed them also had time to gather everything.

They each entered a room and found nothing on them. Olivia came down from upstairs upset.

"Do not go upstairs for anything!" Olivia was mad.

Iris and Liz knew the Priest had been killed. They wanted to know why she was more mad.

They went upstairs to find almost everyone absolutely naked. They went back downstairs almost crying.

"Our poor eyes!" Iris and Liz cried.

"What happened? Margaret asked.

"Do not go upstairs if you value your eyesight." Liz had tears coming out.

Amber knew something had happened.

"What, the naked men upstairs?" Violet asked.

Margaret and Amber both felt their pride go down seeing that Violet did not care. Iris and Liz both felt their entire Souls shake with hatred.

"Are you not affected?" Margaret asked.

"I see all kinds of men naked. Why bother with tribal stuff like that?" Violet asked.

Even Olivia felt simply for the other girls that were near Violet.

"Rex, come back soon." Olivia spoke softly.

Inside the shabby building

"I made it bartend!" Rex shouted.

It was 11:27 and Rex had just barely won the bet.

"What took so long?" Darkily asked.

Rex smiled.

"I wanted all of their belongings. So I searched them and got a bundle of goodies." Rex proclaimed proudly.

This made everyone in the building fear for their lives. Seeing how quick Rex killed several people.

"Question how many people did you kill?" Darkily asked.

"60 people, including this man." Rex placed the head on the table.

Everyone began sweating profusely. Seeing that Rex had killed a Priest. They wondered which demon lived inside of Rex.

"You are not a Boy. You are the mightiest of Man. Let us hear it for The Man." Darkily shouted.

"The Man." The building shouted.

Everyone went to the bartender and paid their tab. Most people did not have much but still enjoyed their time up there.

"Darkily, your tab is 180 Gold and 3 Silver." The bartender said.

Darkily sighed. He went up but Rex cut in front of him.

"Bartend! My friend owes this much. I have to kill the other three Priests. Why not have him journey with me for three weeks. If he disobeys one order you can double that amount on him. If he obeys consider it paid in full." Rex smiled.

The bartender smiled.

"If Darkily disobeys one order from you. He will not only pay 360 Gold and 6 silver but become a laughing stock here. How about Darkily?" The bartender smiled.

Darkily was upset. Even though he did have the money, he did not want Rex to interfere.

"Damn Jerk. I accept your bet." Darkily shook Rex's hand.

"Alright let's first get these dogs something to eat." Rex commanded.

The smallest dog ate and ate. It seemed like it had not eaten in forever. The bigger dog just sniffed the food and turned his head.

"You better eat or you will become eaten yourself." Rex told the dog.

The dog tried his best to eat but his body would not allow him to eat.

The Spider Queen watched the dogs. She began to ponder if these were Dire Wolves.

"The smallest I believe is a girl. That one could be a Fenrir?" The Spider Queen thought.

Watching from Rex's Soul was something that she enjoyed but meeting someone or something could put a damper on her enjoyment. The only thing she could tell was if a beast was female.

The smallest one was a female. That is why she thought the bigger one could be a Fenrir. They were only males and females would always be attracted to them.

Rex sat down and shoved a piece of meat into the bigger dog's mouth. The smaller dog jumped in front of the bigger dog acting like it was trying to protect the bigger one.

"Rex. Those are Dire Wolves and the smallest one is female. The bigger one is a Fenrir, it would make for a great Soul Tame if his health gets better." The Spider Queen spoke.

Hearing that, Rex looked at the bigger dog and saw him eat. Rex picked up the smallest one holding her mouth shut. Rex began to feed the bigger dog.

It was not until 12:00 that the bigger dog had finished everything inside the shabby building.

"How much is my total?" Rex asked.

"Don't worry. I already put it on Darkily's tab. Make sure you enjoy your outing with him alright." The bartender's smile was huge.

"Thank you again." Rex waved.

Putting the Priest's head into his inventory. The wolves, Rex, and Darkily all exited the Black Market.
